BSOD, RAM and Driver Problems of the 0x000000be Variety
Hey everyone,
It's been some time since I posted. Since my last post here I found that the line of motherboards I was using were faulty in their design. Since then I switched brands completely and I had been BSOD free for over a year. Then on Thursday I got a BSOD, followed by two more yesterday. The errors were always "Attempted_to_write_to_readonly_memory."
Since then I checked for spyware and it came back clean. I tested both hard drives with the "chkdsk" tool and they came back error free. I also ran driver verifier but my system crashed before windows could fully boot, so I had to turn it off in Safe Mode. I ran Memtest86+ and after three passes my system came back with an error. I pulled one 2GB stick of RAM, and after 7 passes the no errors showed up. I swapped out the RAM and tried the other stick. 11 Passes later I had 25 errors. So I switched the sticks again and tried driver verifier once more with the RAM that didn't give me any problems. I couldn't get windows to load yet again. So it seems my problem goes deeper than one stick of bad RAM.
I'm not sure what to do now but I'm hoping someone can help me pinpoint the problem. My files from the SF tool are attached. Any help would be very much appreciated!
