I've had many different BSODs randomly, and I'm at wit's end.

Well, I could not find my XP disc, so I went ahead and went with Win7 on my other HDD right now, just as a test.

So far, so good. However, I have absolutely nothing non-default installed, except for Chrome, and the drivers for my motherboard's ethernet ports. I will install nothing until such time as I feel confident that there will be no issue.

Nevermind. Just BSOD'd. At least it was an actual screen, instead of a freeze. BCCode 3B.

    All right

Thats a start.. Keep checking the temperatures using speccy or speenfan... and also resmon to see what program is using the cpu the most...

Then 1 by 1 try installing the drivers.... this time... dont install directly from the software but unpack them so that you can use the update driver feature and search for these drivers and install the... this makes sure .... you dont add the company bloatware's...

    Keep us posted

    Oh crap spoke too soon

    BCCode 3B

This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.
which drivers are you using ??

All Drivers I am using is default Windows 7 Pro 64, except for the motherboard ethernet port, which I installed right from the disc provided when I bought the PC (the ASUS disc with all the mobo drivers on it - not the Windows disc).

I do not exaggerate when I say that is all I have installed. Other than Windows, the only other program I have installed is Google Chrome. No other drivers, no other software. I've barely had the OS installed for twenty minutes at this point.

When I took everything out yesterday to dust, I did just that. I'll do it again tomorrow, just in case, though.

If it makes any difference, this time it happened while I was in Chrome, while playing Avenger's Alliance on Facebook. (Don't judge me).

A wild thought occurred as I was re-seating the video card.

I am currently testing the machine, and I am only using the onboard HDMI port.

    I'm sorry, I thought I was clear.

I had the wild idea of, instead of using the video card, just run using the onboard video for now, just to test it and see if it gives me BSOD. If it does not, then I can just ship the video card back, and try a different one. If it does, then I'm back to the drawing board.
