    Mesage to say backup immediately

I am ploughing along and suddenly get a message for the system to back up immediately - which I did (system image).

Now I am left wondering what to do reinstall or just carry on _ I cannot remember the exact wording but it came from within the OS as it was labeled Microsoft - should have taken a pic in hindsight. It then went to do you want to make a rescu disk - which I have anyway.

Any ideas on what I should do folks please?

It could be a virus trying to fake you. So be careful. This is what I suggest just to be safe:

Do a full scan of your system using: Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Afterwards: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

If nothing pops up for both of those,

    try: Windows Defender Offline

    Give it a shot.

Kaspersky is good, but not even the best A/V can pick up all the viruses. But please let me know.

Could you attach the log itself? This way we can see the whole log.
