BSOD After Flashing BIOS, Unknown Error
So this issue that I've had has occurred many times in the past. My motherboard is an MSI 970A-G45 and it works fine just the way it is (with the exception to the fact that the machine can't sleep or hibernate). I figured that flashing the BIOS would fix that problem, but when I did, Windows 7 would BSOD at the "Starting Windows" screen. So I flashed back to the original version that the motherboard came with and things run normally again. I would provide an error code, but unfortunately it's happened a very long time ago so I can't exactly remember it. I could reproduce the problem, but I'd rather not as to avoid bricking my motherboard. I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows because that's several hours of reinstalling programs and settings. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong here? If anyone has any suggestions for the sleep and hibernating issue as well that'd be great.
