    New COmputer Keeps Crashing

    Hi Everyone,

In a brave attempt to put together my new computer, my new machine keeps constantly freezing up. The event mostly occurs when i open a webpage that might have embedded video. When the machine freezes up, I need to do a hard boot.

I have tried running the Asus diagnostic tools, but no real results. I have even tried the various memory tests, however no resolve. One other step that I have taken was also to replace my grahics card from a AMD Sapphire to a NVDIA GeForce GTX 690.

In an attempt to work through the issue, I even booted into safe mode a few items and the error did not occur. Not sure what my take away should be from the exercise.

The following are the specs for my machine:

System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) 17-3960X CPU @ 3.30GHz Motherboard ASUS RAMPAGE IV Extreme Memory 12263 MBS @ 1333 MHZ Graphics Card(s) NVDIA GeForce GTX 690 Sound Card Creative X-Fi Audio Processor (WDM) Monitor(s) Displays Dual Dell 24' Ultrasharp Monitors Screen Resolution N/A Hard Drives Samsung SSD PM800 2.5" ATA Device PSU Corsair TX750 Case Corsair The Graphite Series™ 600T Mesh Mid Tower Case Cooling Corsair CWCH80 Hydro H80 CPU Liquid Cooler

    Please help!

    Thanks

First of even in any case please follow this and upload all the files here.. this should give us an idea why the freeze has occured...

As far by experience goes... it looks like a display driver issue but.... until i look into those files i cant confirm.

Try updating your bios... if it is not the latest version.... as per manufacture page... there were lot of stability improvements in the lastest bios upgrade....
