A couple of questions and some info:

The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is a specification that defines a software interface between an operating system and platform firmware. Are you using the UEFI? You might want to consult the manual for your board.

UEFI has no disadvantages and only advantages. In the future this will be the only interface available to a computer's firmware.

With that said, go to this website:

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 (rev. 1.0)

Either apply the UEFI, taking note of the Gigabyte utilities that you no longer need and that will not work correctly.
