BSOD - fileinfo.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

    Could .net framework have anything to do with it? It was part of the game install and appeared to loop "repair" installations. I installed the latest version myself this morning, and when I started the game today it did another .net update.

    I'll try verifier when I get off work.

    Sorry I did not know that .Net framework is the part of your games. Your .Net updates were never complete.
    Try Windows Update - Reset, it may work on the .Net issue.

    Easy Driver Pro - found 19 updates, one of which was for my realtek audio drivers which was the cause of the first BSODs I had. Is it safe to accept all of the driver updates it shows?

    Accept those. Those will not do any harm.

    another crash


    So annoying, was just browsing the web this time, usually crashes are while idle.

    I followed the verifier instructions but all my drivers have windows as the Provider, do I still run it?

    It may be the video driver, according to amd website there was a new driver put out on 8-15, according to my ZIP my video driver is from 7-27, I'm at work currently so I will try it when I get home. I currently have 12.8 which is the most up to date version so I assumed I was fine, also the catalyst software said I have the most up to date as well. I'll install it just to be sure.

    the instructions indicated to select all the drivers that aren't provided by microsoft, but all of mine listed are and it will not run if I have nothing selected.

    thats strange. you should at least have the chipset driver, sound, display and network drivers.

    can you upload a screenshot of that window?
