Thanks again for your time and guidance. I have gone trough all the steps mentioned, and I cant find and any remains of the forementioned files and/or programs. When checking the Device Manager however, there is a yellow exlamation mark at an "unknown device" wich according to the Hardware-id is the ATK0110. For now i have disabled the device, since removing it does not seem to do anything. Hopefully there will be no more BSOD for a while, and will I be able to mark this thread as solved!
Genius. ATK is also related to the ASACPI.sys, as it had the definitely meant something. I believe your issue is fixed.

    Driver Description
Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility (a known BSOD maker in Win7). Also a part of the Asus PCProbe and AISuite Utilities
    Driver Reference Table - ASACPI.sys

So best thing to do is leave it disabled? or is there a driver that does not cause a problem? Either way it has been a long time since i could leave the computer running overnight without locking up or having a BSOD.

I will mark this thread as being solved! Many thanks for the help!

Yes I believe so. When you're in device manager, are you able to right click, properties, driver-tab, uninstall driver?

At the moment i have turned the "unknown device" off, because it will install itself after a reboot if left turned on.

Everything seems to be working fine, and i havent experienced a BSOD yet, so i can live with it this way.
