BSOD once per day in first boot or USB device connected

    Hi,

I am looking a solution for BSOD that happens once per day. Windows 7 Home Premium is installed week ago as a new installation (not as upgrade). Finally get minidumb today.

Maybe it is USB related as it does not crash today before USB hub with some other devices attached??? Also updated video card drivers can make the system beeping...

Before this computer had Vista installed and was also crashing some in first boot(s).

I have kind of hurry as this is not my computer and leaving home in 5 days (over 2000km away).

Sorry, now the attachment is in place (I though it already was). OK now?

More info: With Vista crashes started after SP2 installation. With Win7 no programs are installed yet but FF and Chrome + Kies for phone. Only drivers are updated.

I need to make sure no crashes will be happening as the owner cannot do much if problems happen. And he would soon trow away the whole computer...

    Voltages seems bit off?
    Attachment 228198

But Speed fan propably just reads wrong values...

Also, the computer seems shutting down sometimes when more USB devices are attached. Extension cord got just replaced as it has faulty switch, lets see how it helps.

    Updates:

Crashed after connecting camera with USB. Ok after restart.

Attached USB hub back to computer but this time self-powered: Computer crashed and started beeping. Keep on beeping also after taking power off from main switch. Stopped after removing all USB cabels: The last one was printer cable so it might be the problem.

Need to try if no problems with printer not attached. If no problems, trying it with powered USB hub.

Any other ideas? (Only some days to solve the problem for good...)

Anyway, computer crashes with USB devices still. Power suply can be broken, or short circuit somewhere.

If no luck today, new computer will be bought. Not time to use for trouble shooting anymore.
