Windows 7: BSOD - Computer locks up and reboots every 45-60 minutes

26 Aug 2012   #31

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

Thanks for all your help in troubleshooting. It appears that the issue was the SSD problem that I linked. It was up all night and did not reboot after firmware upgrade to the M4 drive.

I'll work on the USB controller another day.

PC locks after 2 minutes
I don't know why but my computer keeps locking after two minutes of being idle. It goes straight to the logon screen and says locked. I've checked power settings but no luck. It just keeps doing it. Any ideas what is happening? It's driving me nuts.

Win7 Ultimate x64 reboots while idle after 16 minutes
I have a weird problem where my Windows 7 reboots after being idle for 16 minutes and a few seconds. It's always at the same point, I have timed it a few times. There is no BSOD, it just reboots like someone pressing the reset button of the computer. However, if I uncheck the "automatically...
