My BSOD occurs when I am playing a game called Minecraft. It usually happens within a minute or two when I play. during my first BSOD about a minute into the game. I had windows media player playing music in the background and opera open. I figured it was caused by minecraft so I tried again 2 more times and got BSOD again without opening anything else besides minecraft. I got 2 dump files but I had 3 BSODs, the first two were System service exception. I'm not entirely sure but I think this was caused after windows updated. This hasn't happed before except for today because when I was shutting down my computer last night I notice it was doing a system update after logging off. The days prior to the updated I had no problems with any thing I was doing.

    Red

This is totally unrelated to what you had in the beginning...

Anyway... 1 bsod is related to JAVA and the other is related to Opera (what were you running in opera?)

The software requirement for Minecraft as show in their website is as below

    Software Requirements:
Minecraft Release 1.2.5 or newer. Older versions will need to be updated to current versions
Java (Java SE 6 Update 32 or Java SE 7 Update 4 or newer is preferred)
Please note that some users experience issues playing Minecraft while using a mismatched version of Java for their operating system (32 or 64 bit), while using certain versions of Java 7, or while multiple versions of Java are installed
Look into these and update the Java to the latest.

I'm pretty sure I updated my Java 7 to the latest version and I have minecraft 1.2.5. On opera I was on a Minecraft forums looking up recipes for a mod.

I've been getting a whole lot of BSOD/ freezes lately whenever I startup my computer. It will crash like 2/3 times then after that I'm able to use my computer till I turn it off and then it repeats. I don't know what the cause is. I just spent about a day and half backing up my data and I'm thinking of just installing a clean OS on another partition and keep my personal data one another partition so if something like this happens again I can just install another clean OS on the partition. but I'd like to do that as a last resort if I can't fix it. My minidumps are attached and hope anyone has advice to help me.
