    BSOD driver_power_state_failure


    Hi, hoping you guys can help me out. I bought this new computer a few months back. recently, I have been experiencing a BSOD. This is the 3rd time that this same BSOD has occurred.

    Attached is a screen shot (BSOD.jpg)
    Also attached is results of your diagnostic tool.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Also I will do my best to answer any questions.

    Welcome
    Its your realtek NIC driver. Go to the website and update
    Rt64win7.sys

    Not sure If I did the update correctly. Attached is the file that I "ran" to update my drivers. It uninstalled the old driver first, restart machine, then install new driver, restart and another BSOD.

    I dont see that driver at all in this new report
    Go to search by the start button
    Type cmd
    in cmd type driverquery
    Look for that driver. There is one with a very similar name, make sure that you have both.
