Definitely. Feel free to set it by default by yourself. Your sticks seems to run @ 1750MHz (5-5-5-15) as it said in your specs. Go a head and setup BIOS in that setting. There's a chance that the motherboard can't identify what voltages and clocks your sticks are running.
I've solved several of PC problems by doing this, really.

    Frederik.

something else i wanted to see if this could be an issue with....i was looking around at my motherboard spec and if im reading this right my memory that i have installed is 1066 then from how im reading it its saying it only supports one DIMM per channel and i have 4 sticks of ram (4X 2GIG sticks) is there anyway you could check that and let me know if im reading that right lol . Part number for ram is f2-8500cl5-2gbpk....Its from G.Skill i think...Also ive been thinking about upgrading my MOBO because i want more than one PCI-E could i possibly steal a few moments of your time to ask a few question about them....(ive got very little knowledge of building computers but i tend to learn fast) If your to busy then i understand.

    1) What model/brand is your sticks? I'll check the Qualified Vendors Lists on your motherboard as soon as I've obtained that information.

    2) Feel free to ask questions regarding building computers. The rig and overclock section probably has a bit more knowledge around it, but I've built my own also so I should be able to have a somewhat knowledge.

I'm always busy, busy answering questions like these. That's what's driving me on the road.

    Overclocking and Case Mods

Powering up four DIMMs running as one, two or even three may require the voltage to be raised tiny bit.

    Best Regards,
    Frederik.

Far as the MOBO goes what MOBO would u recommend with my CPU i have now? that would have 2+ PCI-E slots ...and i know my CPU is AM3 but is it possible to use it in a AM3+ socket on the MOBO? As far as changing the voltage myself is still greek to me i dont understand what im doing lol if you want to teach me how ill do it

Ah, just on top of everything- can you take a snapshot of every tab in CPU-Z and upload them here?

    Thanks.

    Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK -- this is your sticks, confirmed?

Correct me if I'm wrong but these sticks should be 2x1 GB. You have like 8 gigs. Are you combining them or something in that regard? They are supported on the QVL (attached), but it says they're a kit of 2.
