First off, thank you for your helpful advice.
BSOD (0x00000050) initially with relatively new desktop, and tried reinstallation of Win 7, which I thought would fix it. However, now BSOD infrequently. Blue screen too fast to read, but think it says 0x0000007b. Would appreciate your review of the attached zip, with your recommendations.

Please download and install all windows updates.

Whats the reason for making all those partitions on your boot drive?
When you install windows 7 Try using only 1 partition, delete the others, if you have important files on them, you need to back them up!! Its better to have your OS on 1 drive, Use a separate drive for your important files!!

Windows Updates - Unfortunately, some of the problem has been that when I try to install the drivers for internet access, the Ethernet card is not detected, and it says I have insufficient RAM. Without access to the internet, I'm not able to update Windows.
Partitions - I guess I didn't know about them, I thought I was doing a clean install. Can I delete other partitions? Will it make a difference?

What are the updates that you are unable to install?
A screenshot of your errors would be helpful as well as a maximized view of your disk management.
1. Click on the start
2. Type Disk management
3. Maximize, then:
Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
Run the system file checker and reboot when you are asked to.
Post back.
This is what I get when I try to reinstall my cable modem, using the CD, to allow internet access. No hardware changes since I last accessed the internet using this desktop, before BSOD problems.

Couldn't transfer SystemInfo.exe program from thumbdrive onto desktop as I got an error message. Any advice on how I can get system info?
While I was checking this board, the desktop rebooted itself and had this error message, if this information is any help.
