    BSOD startup loop, error 0X000000ED

I am getting an unmountable boot volume error for my Win 7 64 bit Acer Aspire 5750-6627. I have tried all the safe mode options, but those do not work. Windows cannot startup normally. And I cannot get to startup repair either. I tried using a Win 7 disc to get to the recovery options, which got me as far as the first windows install prompt. I got to the "Repair" button, hit that but I was caught in a hangup between the loading of that menu and the system restore options--just my cusor and a blue background in waiting. Not sure what to do...

I loaded a live ubuntu cd, and I was able to see my windows 7 hdd is still accessable.

Any suggestions would be very helpful...

    I deleted my post accidentally.

Were you able to find a solution to your problem?
