BSODs: 0x09F and 0x0E6. Rtnicprop64.dll also seems to be unsigned.

Okay, I've restarted in safe mode about five times and uninstalled each time. But then the driver couldn't install, even when I tried the original one. This explains my error: the-computer-site.com - The Computer Site - "Your system does not meet the minimum requirements..." The error had this number after it: (9996). But I know that the update will work as long as I have the hardware installed - any version driver.

The version I've ended up with after uninstalling so much is 3.0.0.41. Is it all right if I just update that one with the HP update?

I don't see why it would hurt, go for it! But if your system is stable on any of these versions then lets keep it that way for a while:)

Oh gosh, I was starting to get the feeling it was solved, but I just got two E6s while surfing Tumblr, in the past ten minutes. I've been BSOD free for nearly two weeks...

Aw darn, well upload the dumps if you can. It could be something totally different this time.

Okay, here they are. If it's still the network adapter driver, at this point I'll probably just go get a new wireless card...

EDIT: Seriously? My computer just had yet another E6 when I went to my Tumblr blog (not the home page or whatever). That's when it BSOD'd twice last night. Bizarre.

Got the same thing : netr28x.sys
If you do get another card, and the problem is resolved then let me know otherwise our best bet here is to keep trying different drivers.

Could we? I'm not in a rush to get a new card, but do you think that might be the problem?

Under device manager right click the unknown usb controller and select properties then details. From there on the dropdown menu select "Device instance path" or it may be " Device instance id" Copy and paste the id to your next post, so we can find this driver.
I would say it is most likely so.

    Unknown USB controller?

EDIT: Nothing under USB Controllers is a unknown device.
