Screen Freezing after Hibernate

Well I've been have frozen screens for awhile now and finally realized that it freezes consistently after shutting it down using hibernate.

Meaning when I turn on the computer, a few seconds, sometimes minutes later it freezes if I had used hibernate to shut it down earlier.

The screen becomes dead and the cursor cannot move.... the only way to reboot it is to force shut down (hold the on button for a few seconds)

Any advice is appreciated
Thx in advance

Pertinent information on freezing.

Go to search type device manager and look for any yellow warning markers
Download and run malwarebytes, a full scan after you update
Run antivirus scan
Check memory with memtest86
Make sure that you are not over heating.
Try in safe mode; report back if it works properly.
Try a clean boot
Make sure PSU is working properly
If overclocking, restore to original
Test hard drive at company website.
Test in safe mode, does it still happen?

This seems like a lot, but go slow, ask questions and you will be up and running
Also let us know what antivirus you use, most members here suggest Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
