    BSOD 0x124 randomly

    Hi sevenforum :)

I have been having problems with my pc for a while now and i really dont know what to anymore... Been trying to google the bug check code.
It can happen while doing the most simple things as browsing and/or playing simple games or just simply when the pc is idle.

i have done everything i could possible think of.

    been running memtest86+ flawless 3times.
Tryed to reinstall windows a couple of times, bought brand new ram sticks, bought brand new psu, bought new SSD(two ocz solid states, both updated to the latest firmware) bought new graphics card, even bought a new case...

Hope that you can help me out

    Thanks in advance :)

edit: Just had a bluescreen right after posting this :/

    More info
Non of my components are overclocked and have never been.
My new casing as the cooler master Haf X so i suppose that airflow isnt an issue :)
    Everything is up to date
I dont think that this is a false positive due to the fact that im having blue screens really often..
I have done memtest86+, chkdsk on all my drives (took forever) no errors.
Did do clean install of windows a couple of times.
There is no dust or anything like that (it's a build from last month)

    System specs.

Microsoft windows 7 ultimate x64 (installed about 1½ months ago)
    Intel i7 870.
    Kingston 8gb ddr3 1600mhz
    Gigabyte gtx 560tioc (factory oc)
    1000W energon psu.
    optical drive.
    ocz agility 3 60gb (OS)
    ocz agility 4 250gb (games)
there are 3 other drives which i do not remember what brand.(regular HDD's)
    Protection: SuperAntiSpyware, MSE.

    Welcome

For the bug check you are getting, go through this thread for an insight:
Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

Let us know what you've tried.

Then, see the step #9 of the link that koolkat77 provided ....
    9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one-by-one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential which can be removed. Obviously, this type of testing is a lot easier if you've got access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

Have done that too, i almost "bought" a complete pc... the only things that are still left in the pc, that are still from the "old" build would be the cpu, mobo.

And then, the cause is hidden there.

You can easily check the stability if the cpu by stress testing it: Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95
If it passed, you have one more item to blame, unfortunately.

So if my cpu passes this test, it'll be my mobo? :/

As you are saying that you have done all the steps, swapped all the components other than the cpu and mobo, and cpu is passed the test, unfortunately it may be inferred that it is the mobo that is causing the problem.

If it is not dust, it may be some cracks etc there in the mobo.
