Sorry for the late reply, sir! Things around me is not going very fine.
Yes, your nvidia driver is somehow old, it is of October 2011. So you should update it. And, you now disable driver verifier.
After disabling driver verifier, follow these steps to update nvidia driver:
- Download and install |MG| Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper) 1.1.1 Download.
- Reboot the computer in Advanced Boot Options, safe mode. Search Driver Fusion in your start menu, and remove all components of your nVidia display driver.
- Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, follow option two to search for the appropriate driver for your system automatically, and install it.
If it still crashes, we are to think otherwise.
Saying again, sorry for the late.
EDIT: It is not crashing while verifier is enabled indicates that it is not any of the drivers that is causing the crashes, and the reason is hidden in somewhere else. Drivers are all able to take stress.
Oh, don't worry about it :)
And I think I mis-typed, I havent had any BSOD's since I started this thread!! What I did was install the NVIDIA Driver I found from Acer's website. So the drivers list included in my original post shows the old driver I had. Seems to have done the trick, doesn't it?
I have switched the driver verifier off as well. Had it running for as long as you said and nothing happened :)
Again, I appreciate your help so much!

Hi again! The computer has been running well for a few days, but yesterday it started BSOD'ing again. When I got home a few hours ago I couldn't even boot it up, due to BSOD's popping up everywhere, different ones as well. Managed to back everything up though.
Tried reseating the RAM-bricks, didnt work. However what did work was running it with only one of the RAM bricks inserted, the smaller one I think. (I've got 6MB Ram, so im only using the 2MB piece for it to work. Doesnt work if I only use the 4MB piece) The computer is very much slower now though
I've uploaded the latest info from the Diagnostic tool in this post, hope you can see anything useful :)
You need to uninstall AVG. It is always a trouble.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials. That's the problem free one.Code:Loading User Symbols Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\avgldx64.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avgldx64.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avgldx64.sys ******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. First, let it run in this condition for some time, observe if it crashes again or not.
If not, put the other RAM back.
@Arc
Hi again :) So the computer has been running with only the one piece for over a day now, no BSOD's :) So I decided to put the other one in again earlier, but then it was back to normal, wouldn't boot up due to BSOD appearing. Have to use it with only the one piece it seems, but I've included the latest info from the diagnostic tool. Let me know if you see anything useful!
And does this mean that the piece is damaged, and that a new one will fix the issue?
