Hey guys, I'm getting some random BSOD. I followed the directions for posting my dump etc I hope this helps! I do have Demon Tools installed and I've heard numerous things about how sptd causes BSODs. I also have a copy of my Bluescreenviewer in notepad if needed :) I hope I did this right. Please help
The one F4 crashdump shows a problem with trying to grab data from disk and shove it onto memory. During that I/O process, an error came up that the device (most likely a storage device) which held the data didn't exist (probably spontaneously bugged out earlier). Whether this is a logical device or a physical one, I'm not able to ascertain from just a minidump.
I could see Daemon Tools causing this. I did notice that while SPTD is fairly up-to-date (Aug 18, 2012), Daemon Tools itself is from back in Jan 13. You will want to go ahead and check to make sure both DT and the SPTD driver are at their newest.
Other than that, I can't really tell more. Best bet is to turn on Driver Verifier and see what that comes up with (provide us crashdumps from it). Also, for hardware tests, you should run all basic tests with Seatools on your drives. If you have an SSD drive, you'll want to forgo running those tests on that drive and instead look for any firmware updates for it, as well as motherboard chipset driver updates and BIOS updates, since any of those can cause mishaps with drive I/O.
Thanks so much for replying!! I didn't realize DemonTools was outdated, so I downloaded and the installed the latest version.
I followed the Driver Verifier guide but couldn't figure out how to save the results except for copy and paste them from the cmd prompt I hope that helps.

You don't have to save the "results". All it is showing you is what checks you selected and what drivers you enforced those checks upon. The real results come from the system BSODing because of Driver Verifier checks finding misbehaving drivers, and the crashdumps that come from those BSODs. If you turn DV on, restart your computer, and come across a BSOD or two, we'll want the crashdumps for those.
