BSOD during the installation of Windows 7 64-Bit

I'm having a bit of a problem now that I wish can be solved ASAP. I currently am trying to install Windows 7 64-bit on my laptop since I've upgraded the ram from 1 GB to 8 GB.

I'm am positive both ram sticks are not DOA since I ran memtest and is currently running fine on 32-bit Win 7. So I am quite positive it is not the new ram.

The BSOD I am getting is something about page fault in nonpaged area (I think, the bsod went too quickly). I cannot retreive the minidump because I have to format the partition everytime it fails. Another error from the installation is something like "Your current hardware is not compatible to the version of Windows you are trying to install" I kind of forgot. But this error and the BSOD both occur during the final stage of the installation called "Completing Installation".

I'm really in dire need to get this solved asap.

    Welcome

Where did you get your win 7 ISO?
Did you run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor - Download - Microsoft Windows before trying to install?

Where did you get your win 7 ISO? I got it from the official Microsoft website.
Did you run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor - Download - Microsoft Windows before trying to install? I ran the upgrade advisor and it said I was able to run the 64-bit version.
    Thanks.

Everything but the RAM is exactly 2 years old. The RAM just arrived yesterday.

I am currently redownloading and burning a new disc in case I might need it later.

I was finally able to get the error for installation. It's something along the lines of "Windows setup cannot configure windows for your hardware". This only occurs in 64-bit installation and during "Completing Installation". Any ideas?
