BSOD Associated with dropbox(?) 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Laptop 2days old!

    BSOD Associated with dropbox(?) 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Laptop 2days old!


    I have experience BSOD with crash dump 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 information attached.

    Only had Lenovo G580 2 days and only started last night has crashed every time Dropbox is enabled at start up. Please help laptop is currently useless. I am not very techy so please could you explain steps and techi bits/words.

    Hi thank. No it doesn't come with any and hadn't yet created a repair disk. Just tried updating all drivers and it still crashes

    For your situation, the best thing is to do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 .

    There are some bundled junks like lenovo boot booster which is causing troubles for you. The easiest and safest way is to start fresh.

    I tried what Arc linked to, and it fixed my problem on a Lenovo G780. You can see this post on Lenovo for more details.
