seatools came up clean, i have security essentials instead of avast. and i will do another memtest tonight
Memstest did 9 passes last night and came up with no errors. but when i rebooted windows it said that windows was not genuine, for 20 mins. But is now genuine after downloading a validation check from microsoft.
no bsod's so far today, and i think it could be solved so that is what i shall now mark it as. but i don't know why my windows lost it's verification certificate. Thanks for all your help!
You're welcome and good to hear you're running BSoD free. Come back to this thread if you have them again.
You can tell me about the verification certificate and create a thread in the appropriate section. I'll call for help on that issue if needed.
