Since the laptop is only a month old I think replacement is a wise decision. A new machine shouldn't be having these issues and it seems to be pointing to a hardware problem rather than software.

addiosamigo: try truning off hibernation
Elevated command Prompt
powercgf -h off

I don't know why, but either the act of hibernating, coming out of hibernation, or something in the hibernation file seems to cause problems. It might stem from the manufacturing process where a network install location no longer exists at the customer's location, but the hibernation file still contains the information - that's just a guess mind you.

If you need hibernation, reboot and then
Elevated command Prompt
powercgf -h on

But I don't see a real need any longer - hybrid sleep seems enough

So my computer has had no issues for a very long time now. But about two days ago I wanted to try the new game, Lords of the Fallen. So I couldn't get game running at first so I tried fiddling around with my registry a bit, which did nothing. I eventually updated all my AMD drivers & software to...

BSOD upon coming out of sleep.
This is the 2nd or 3rd time that I have had a BSOD when getting my system out of sleep mode. When it happens there is no warning. Everything is starting up and loading so the system is bogged down; not very responsive. Other than that, there is nothing that would indicate the immanence of a BSOD....

BSOD coming out of sleep
Hi all, I just put together a new computer this weekend. Specs are below. It appeared to be fine when gaming and browsing the internet. However it soon started to BSOD. It would do this when loading Youtube. I traced this to an apparent problem between ATI drivers and Flash. Changing...

I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional and EVERY time I put the computer to sleep it crashes with coming back. Any ideas on what it could be? I'm not completely computer illiterate, but I don't know much about finding error codes and what not. This is pretty annoying but at...
