    BSOD's on cold boot, ntoskrnl.exe, ntfs.sys

It is my first post at SevenForums.com, so hello everyone!

I thought I would figure it out on my own, but I was wrong. For a couple of weeks I've been struggling with bsods, which occur mainly on cold boot, 3 to 4 times before everything stabilizes. I've already tested my ram with memtest and after 7 full cycles there were no errors at all. I also did chkdsk for every disk, tested the CPU and VRAM. Nothing there. I haven't installed any new hardware that might corrupt my pc. So I am stuck now, and the only thing I could do was to kindly ask You for help.

    A few recent minidumps:

    Welcome

Please upload your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this:

    • Click on the Start
    • Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box
    • When it opens, go to File, Save
    • Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember
    • Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info
    • Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder
    • Upload the .zip file here.

    Thanks.

    Code:
DAEMON Tools Lite "c:\program files (x86)\daemon tools lite\dtlite.exe" -autorun B11-PC\B11 Startup
    Start Menu\Programs\AVG Public:Start Menu\Programs\AVG Public
Uninstall Daemon Tools, it's a known cause for BSoDs.

Your dumps do not give a probable cause but for now I'd suggest to uninstall AVG.
Download and install Microsoft security essentials.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
Run a full scan once updates are done.

And look for a update on your BIOS version.
    Code:
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 2008-01-11
Disable driver verifier, I'll ask you to enable it again if needed later.

Post the subsequent dumps if any

I was sure, everything went fine after I did all your instructions, but today, when I switched my pc on, the screen froze a few seconds after logging in into windows. I restarted it, logged in, and bam, the screen went black and a strange beep was coming out from mobo. It was something about 3 sec beep, 3 sec silence, and so on. I suppose it is rather a hardware problem, am I right? I don't have any new crash dumps.

    Edit:
I got bsod again, stop 7E, no crash dump collected.

Well, does sound like a hardware problem.
    1. Whats the age of the hardware?
    2. Is it under its warranty?
    3. What is the date of installation of the OS?
    4. Was the OS reinstalled?
    5. Since when did this problem start?
    6. Were there any hardware/software changes?

    1. The pc is 4 and a half years old.
    2. It is not.
    3. I suppose I had a clear installation a year ago.
    4. As above :)
    5. The problem has been visible at certain times for about a few months. But it was rare, if I got one bsod a month it was all. After I did all the instructions you mentioned, it was ok for 2 days. But now it just crashes a few times every time I start the pc in the morning. So again, it is only a cold boot problem.
    6. I have added 2GB memory 2 years ago, but there were no problems back then, and I have run memtest for about 9 hours - no errors there.

    Okay.

Upload the newest dumps, and tell me the temps of your computer using Speccy

Run this tool and delete anything it finds:
    Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

Run disk check to recover any faults on your harddrive:
    Disk Check

Hard drive test both short and long with:
    SeaTools for Windows
