I think I need to update my bios version, because it requires the latest bios and Im pretty sure I don't have that....
Well the graphics drivers installed the screen blinked and my resolution increased for half a sec then then the screen went black and said windows explorer has stopped working then my desktop appeared like it was before still on the old resolution, then it said the driver was not successfully installed.....but in device manager it says the name of the correct driver, but with a yellow icon next to it saying to restarting my computer, so I did......
By the way I have not updated the bios yet......
Ok....wtf? :Attachment 28768
I restarted and last time it installed 3 things, now it said 2 of those things were unplugged, but as far as I know they were all software things, (How can software be 'unplugged'?) So it only installed 1....sugguestions, should I update the BIOs?

I dont know that there is any newer bios update, but you can check.
No... your computer is still fubard .. I really dont know what more you think you can do at this point ... you're not going to be able to resolve your problem.. your machine and its components are too out of date ... the latest drivers are from 2005... Stick with the OS that your system was designed for...
