Same Kernel Power 41 issue on two differnt computers!

    Hi
I have been running a PC (music production) for quite some time and had no issues untill about half a year ago (happened at the same time as I got a new monitor!!) I began to experience screen freezups ( no blue screen, just not able to interact).
Could happen at any time. Was running xp pro 32 b. Log detected sometimes an issue but I cant recall the name. Las week I had enough and started a serious run through. Did everything, checked drivers, memories, temp, scanned, tessted, diagnosed, virus free and so forth. Found nothing.

Decided that it probably was some sort of harware issue I couldnt detect myself, and figured it was most likely anyway time to get new components and update hardware/software to a new generation. Started to order stuff.

In the meanwhile I borrowed this super music computer from the City Theatre so I could be able to work peacefully. WIn pro 64 b. Got it two days ago. And behold my surprise when the same issue happens there. Screen freezes, or computer restarts automatically. All drivers updated on this computer that was working perfectly before it entered my studio... And the issue started BEFORE I had installed anything of my stuff on it. Hence I figured, this cant be a hardware issue at all.. The event log says " kernel power 41" critical.

Only things I use on both computers are:
    1. power cable
    2. power
    3. power sticks
4 MOnitor (maestro led, new dvi cable though, as I ran it on vga on the old one)

I will now change power cable, and also change sticks, but I would be terribl grateful if someone who has experienced the same issue would share any solutions, or if anyone has a suggestion. Im lost. Could the monitor really be causing an issue like this? Power instability?

    Thank you

    Hmm.
The Kernel power 41 error comes when you do a hard reset ( pulls out the power cord, or hold in the power button) when the freeze happens as far as i know of.

The freeze might come cuse of the memory, PSU or the mobo from my experience.
Or mabye the power from the studio is the problem. Have your tried to hook the PC up some where else?

unfortunately thats all i can help you with.
Mabye some other PC brainiacs can be at more help.
