actually that driver is used by some dvd authoring programs, which wrongly monitor the optical drives all the time, and thus cause crashes.
until it is not crashing again, dont worry.
if it crashes again we will search for it.
It freezes every time i play a video. since the bsod seems fixed I started another thread in the music, pictures and video area and was going to marked the bsod as solved.
Windows 7 freezes and buzzes when playing online videos, ie, firefox
In this case, you are suggested to update Cyberlink's version or uninstall it, use Shark007's Windows 7 codecs as WMP codecs and use VLC media player as another player (first choice to play audio/video in most of the cases) and then see if the situation changes or not.
If you think the BSOD issues are over, you may mark this thread as solved.
Cyberlink's version or uninstall it UNINSTALLED
, use Shark007's Windows 7 codecs as WMP codecs DONE
and use VLC media player as another player Done
Ok, no bsod's since friday, seems like removing paragon solved that.
I am marking this as solve and move over to the video freezing thread
Thanks!!!!!!!!
