    BSOD playing Civilization 5 (Zip)

I don't know what else to add.. my computer blue screens when I play certain types of games, mainly.

But I can pressure it with, say, a benchmark without it blinking.

I tried getting a new GFX-card and a new HDD (SSD).. reinstalled everything on the new HDD with as updated drivers as I could find.
    It hasn't changed a thing..

    Hello BBMorti!

► First, Free up the startup.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept the restart.

    Uninstall and reinstall Display driver

    If those fail, Uninstall MagicDisc

Then report the situation to us. If after these three the system is still crashing, we are to think differently.

Alright, I have followed your instructions to the letter.

Should I leave all the startup items deselected or was is only necessary to have them deselected for this exercise ?

I will report back when/if the next blue screen happens.. sigh

The startup items are not necessary to autostart with windows. So better you disable them all, except the antivirus.

They all are installed in your computer. You may use those anytime from the programs list. No need to be auto started at all.

What we need are the files as per Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, not the who crashed output.

Don't you have those from the OP?

Edit: added a new one including the latest dumps, then

Excuse me if I sound frustrated.. I am starting to think a computer that doesn't constantly crash is a myth.
