BSOD Random (after Win 7 system updates?)

Hello helpers,

Recently my laptop (Dell Latitude E6410 - Win 7 64 - Intel i7 - 8 GB RAM) is getting BSOD. Also after starting it, it takes long time to come to teh desktop screen after logon. Randomly after the desktop seen, I cannot launch any application, and when checked, not all services are seen in the task manager. I need to reboot again, and I can run the program.

The dump files are attached for reference.

Quick notes:
1. RAM is upgraded from 4 GB to 8 almost after the Windows updates. I ran memtest86+ and there were no errors.

2. I updated BIOS too after BSODs, but no difference.

3. I have downloaded some new drivers (Intel chip, network etc.) but have not applied them as there are so many (Dell recommended), but will do based on BSOD analysis.

I have full admin rights, and run with an ID having Admin rights.

Any help much appreciated.

The cause of your current crashes is Intel Matrix Storage Manager (an obsolete storage solution by Intel, Replaced by Intel Rapid Storage Technology, and never necessary to run a computer), the driver date is June 2010.

Uninstall it at first.

And, if USB Selective Suspense is enabled, disable it.

Let us know the results.

In the add/remove programs list, select intel matrix storage and uninstall it.

There is iAstorV.sys in your dump, as a cause of the crash.

upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

z007, sorry for the late reply, I was facing some troubles with my net connection. Please upload your latest dumps after the network driver update, I want to see it, if there is a cause found.

You don't have to be sorry. I understand you are helping us out on a volunteer basis, and kudos to your effort.

OK, as an update, I did update the Intel and Nvidia drivers using the intel and nvidia driver update utility tool they provide. On top of that I also ran the laptop in the clean boot mode (disabled all the services except MSFT ones). I ran for two days, and I do not have any crashes right after login, so that's a good thing. However, when I put the pc on sleep overnight (>4-5 hours), I saw that on wake up it showed it was crashed. unfortunately, my settings must have been changed so I do not have the dmp file. (I have activated checked it, the settings are fine, but no dmp file was created!)

I have set the power options to 'Balanced', and kept the default values. as a result, the USB Selective Suspense is 'Active' now, should I change it back to disable? (at least there is no BSOD after login, so I was wondering it causes crash on sleep/wake)

So, we are progressing, but something is missing. Let me know what do you think on starting other services (which I have currently disabled).
