I started in the safe mode after the crash (win7 did not start but went to recovery screen) and deleted the verifier settings, after this I could start again. Opposite of the reports my knowledge is that verifier was running. The crash was something with XXXXXX_equal. Difficult to see as backlight is off in safe mode and crashes at start and I have no clue how to make the screen brighter tahn. Any suggestions what to do next?

Hi Koolkat77, just to make sure. I switched on verifier acc to instructions at the site through the run command, NOT the verifier in the SF Diag Grab app. The verifier via run makes win7 crash immediately. BSoD message: driver_irql_not less_or_equal, STOP 0x000000D1, IASTOR.SYS, disable verifier in safe mode and win7 runs smoothly. Tried it again, please see files. If I used wrong verifier let me know. Thank you! henk

    Hello hdej,

    Device queue is not busy.
So we are finding two things here.

    • Netwsw00.sys: Intel® Wireless WiFi Link Adapter. Update it from Customer Support.
    • NETwNs64: Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5000 Series Adapter Driver. Update it from Download Center.

► Again, there is Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

    Code:

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for iaStor.sys
     iaStor+0x2e2af
Uninstall it. It is not necessary at all, just a bundled junk.

    Have a Disc Check:

    1. Reseat the sata and power.
    2. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
    3. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

    Free up the startup.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept the restart.

Uninstall F-Secure antivirus and use Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows.

    Let us know the results.

Well, first you try to update that driver, as my friend Dave76 suggests.

    Thanks Arc.

I would recommend the Intel RST version 11.2.0.1006
There has been some issues with the latest Intel version 11.6.0.1030 being unstable on some systems. Until this is verified and/or corrected you should stay with the previous version 11.2.0.1006.

Can you fill in your system specs?
This would help us to research some of your issues.
This will help: Speccy Free System information Utility
    Also the laptop model.
I took a guess from the info I had, is this your laptop model?
    Lenovo ThinkPad T420
They have the same Intel RST driver listed on the driver support site - Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver version 11.2.0.1006

    Hi Dave,
    Hi Arc,
    Hi Koolkat77,
I might look like a complete rookie, but I downloaded the Intel RST version 11.2.0.1006 but HOW to I uninstall the old drivers and install the new 11.2.0.1006, the is no exe file or something and I have no clue where to uninstall it too. Some directions please.
Downloaded Specchi (running) and updated my specs, thanks all (start to get fun in exploring this pc), re henk

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...d=RST&lang=eng

Choose between the third one and the fourth one.

    Which file to choose

iata_enu.exe: provides English-only files if you have an English version of the operating system.
iata_cd.exe: provides multiple language files if you have an operating system other than English.

Hmmmm Arc, I will put on my glasses next time I write. Downloaded & installed Intel and filled out the specs record. What do you recommend now to do? Or just wait and see what happens. Many thanks henk!
