    BSOD ntfs.sys?

    Hi guys new here, hopefully this post is ok.

    I've been getting more and more BSODs recently and the one i noticed brought up ntfs.sys i believe and i am not sure what is causing them.

    Nothing has changed since i started getting them or so i believe and it tends to happen more when playing computer games.

    Is there anything in the zip file that might explain what is happening?

    Thanks

    Welcome

    Code:
    STOP 0x00000024: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
    Usual causes: Disk corruption, insufficient physical memory, Device driver,
    Indexing, Resident antivirus, backup, defrag programs, Disk/Drive failing/failure
    BugCheck 24, {1904fb, fffff8800a118918, fffff8800a118170, fffff880012bb8ef}
    Probably caused by : hardware ( Ntfs!NtfsFindPrefixHashEntry+5c6 )
    Make a hard drive test from the hard drive manufacturers website

    Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:
    Disk Check

    Hard drive test both short and long with:
    SeaTools for Windows

    Also the DOS version of:
    SeaTools for DOS
