    luafv error

I keep getting this error and then the blue screen

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: luafv

it has happened twice and I really wasn't doing anything but surfing the net.

What is the luafv and how to I fix it?

Run this tool and delete anything it finds:
    Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

Download and install the free version of Malware Bytes and make a full scan:
    Malwarebytes - The Free version

    Did you scan with both?

    Try this as well:
SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

yes I did scan with both. Going to try the other suggestion now.

Tried it at boot and it won't let me, says There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete, but when I reboot it still gives me that message and I rebooted 3 times.

There's a lot of errors present in that data - mostly, it seems, to do with ATI/AMD drivers.

I suspect the easiest solution is going to be a repair install.

I did do a repair but it said there was things it couldn't repair. I was able to run sfc /scannow on desktop without giving me a error and a CBS file. I uninstalled my video drivers and reinstalled, did a chkdisk and I still get the luafv error.

I've added more files to look at

I suspect that you mean that you did an SFC?

A repair install is a very different beast. - look here.... https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

oh yeah, well I don't think I'll try that, don't feel like losing my info. What is the down side of this driver not loading at boot-up? Everything else seems to work.
