    As it is ....

Anyway, I am seeing there are two antivirus installed, And one of those is McAfee.
Uninstall it. It may make the situation change a bit. How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

    And, Free up the startup.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept the restart.

    Let us know the result.

As for the antivirus part, I have lost the code. Im afraid that I would be unable to reinstall it later. Or is it possible if I were to reinstall it without using the code? thanks:)

I went ahead and uninstalled mcafee after figuring out that I don't exactly need the code. Will let you know the result.

For exactly how long do I need to keep it uninstalled?

There are free antivirus that are even better. Many here like Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE), I personally use Avast!

Install Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows right now. You need not to pay anything for it.

McAfee is the worst software made in human civilization, perhaps. Search in google... ask anybody in the forum, you will get the same result. Nobody ... nobody will support you on using McAfee.

Oops ... you are faster, Bill

We call it MuckAfee here. It and AVG products cause many issues.

Right... Remind me to never use McAfee again. I'll check out the anti-virus that you guys have suggested. As for now, there's no BSOD yet will update if something else happens. Thanks alot :)
