System Freezes
So my problem is my computer will just randomly freeze up at times. After leaving it idle for awhile it will freeze, sometimes it will freeze on boot up, and other times it will freeze while in use. I have reformatted to try and stop the freezing but it still happens.
I believe the cause is my wireless adapter or 7port-usb hub as that is the only thing I have done different to my computer since it has started crashing. But both of those thing work just fine on my laptop with the same windows 7 platform. I have tried uninstalling both and unplugging, which didn't help, but could be because the driver is still left behind.
I've viewed the event logger and I keep getting errors which I don't know anything about. So I am hoping someone can help me figure out what these errors are and if they could be the cause of my problems, or if it is in fact my wireless adapter.
And just for reference I am using the Rosewill RNX-N180UBE wireless usb adapter(which supports windows 7). I used the drivers that came with it, and i've tried the drivers windows suggested using windows update. Still have same problem.
Here are some of the errors I'm getting in Event Viewer:
1. Kernel-General Event ID: 5
{Registry Hive Recovered} Registry hive (file): '\??\C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS' was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost.
2. PrintService Event ID: 512

4. Schannel Event ID: 36888

Any help would be highly appreciated as I really need to use my computer without it freezing every hour or so, requiring a hard reboot. Thanks in advanced.
