    BSOD. Unknown reason. Requesting help

I am sorry for the poor thread title but I am really not sure what the cause of my BSOD is. At first i thought it was the streaming program "XSplit", but recently the BSOD has appeared without it being used. It might have something to to with my mouse/headest (do not know if these can cause BSODs), because I have gotten BSOD on two other PCs with the exact same mouse and headset.

My PC is relatively new and therefore this has upset me quite a bit :/

Here is my file from SF diagnostic tool: Attachment 236572

    Thanks,
    -Martin

I now no longer experience BSODs while playing games, but I do however get them whenever I try to stream with the program XSplit. It does not happen instantly, but after 5-10 minutes of streaming it will occur. "atikmpag.sys" seems to be the problem yet again. I have installed the newest driver that I could find, and I have also cleaned out everything linked to AMD/ATI in the registry and Windows folders before reinstalling the driver.

I will post the new dump file when I get a BSOD.

EDIT: I named it "MMjacksN dump 2" because I have already posted a dump file named "MMjacksN"

    It is stop 0x117.

You first update the display driver.
    Code:
    kd> lmvm atikmpag
    start end module name
    fffff880`04d52000 fffff880`04da7000 atikmpag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmpag.sys
        Image path: atikmpag.sys
        Image name: atikmpag.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Mar 30 07:38:08 2012 (4F751588)
        CheckSum: 00051A4E
        ImageSize: 00055000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
If still this crash continues, we may need to do something more.

It seems that my problems have persisted ! Earlier, I was unable to find the correct driver for my PC (Clevo P170E) and it turns out that I had to get the display driver from the PC manufacturer's website, and not AMD who made the card.

I think it has something to do with my PC being a notebook with switchable graphics (read this somewhere but can't remember exactly where).

Thanks a lot for your time and help!

    SIGHHHHHHHHHH....

Just now I recieved two BSODs while streaming with XSplit. The first one happened after I had been doing it for a while, but the second one occured only a few minutes after I resumed streaming.

Here is the dump file for the latest BSOD:

I am seeing the same version of the display driver.
    Code:
    lmvm atikmpag
    start end module name
    fffff880`04d52000 fffff880`04da7000 atikmpag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmpag.sys
        Image path: atikmpag.sys
        Image name: atikmpag.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Mar 30 07:38:08 2012 (4F751588)
        CheckSum: 00051A4E
        ImageSize: 00055000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Mini Kernel Dump does not contain unloaded driver list
Try to update it from AMD Graphics Drivers & Software.

If the crashes continue after updating the driver, we know what to do to troubleshoot stop 0x117. But updating the display driver is the first and foremost.

The problem is that AMD/or my PC will not let me get any new drivers from their website. When I fill in the information (Notebook, Radeon HD Series, Radeon 7xxxM Series, Windows 7 - 64 Bit) I am told that I should download their Driver Verification tool. This tool refuses to be installed on my PC (because of incompatible hardware), which leaves me without any possibility of getting my driver from AMD.

I have switchable graphics; Intel 4000 HD and the Radeon HD 7970M.

Also, is there a difference between display driver and graphics driver?

    Thank you

Display driver and graphics driver is the same thing.
