    I have just installed my new PSU I'll let you know if I get an BSOD or freezeup in the next few days.

    And about 2 hours in my computer freezes. So is it a bad GPU then? Should I head over and talk to EVGA and see what they have to say?

    I don't remember you answering, what GPU drivers are you using and what prosess did you use to install them. And was this a clean install?

    I'm currently using 310.33 Beta drivers and these were installed normally the previous 306.97 were installed in safe mode and clean installed.

    Why ot try to reinstall 306.97, just to be sure it is not the driver. The old ways of installing drivers are gone, thanks to Nvidia. Here is a rather long article on installing the new drivers. It's especially good for people having driver issues. You may be. But try this way and if it doesn't work, call EVGA.

    The abbreviated version:
    Download the new drivers from Nvidia.
    To keep Windows from installing a VGA driver, the easy way is turn off your router or disconnect from the internet. It will install a VGA adaptor, but that's OK.
    Go to C:/Nvidia and open the folder, you will find another folder called display drivers. Open it and you will see a folder of every driver you have ever installed. Delete every one of them. But, don't delete the display folder, just the folders named 306.23, or 310.33.
    Go to add/remove programs and delete all Nvidia driver entries, but Important, delete the Display driver last. When you delete the PhysX, 3d Driver and manager and the update driver then last the display driver, it will tell you to reboot. Reboot then.
    Install the new driver, agree to terms, select custom install. Make sure the clean install is checked, uncheck everything except the display driver and PhysX driver. Don't install the 3D stuff unless you use them and almost no one uses the HDMI driver. The HDMI driver, I've read, can cause issues with Realtek audio drivers.
    Install them and reboot and see if that helps. If not, call EVGA.

    But, you also have a CPU heat issue, I don't think has been addressed. Britton30 is correct, your temps should not be near that high running Furmark. You've run Memtest+ with no errors, I'd like you to run Prime95, but not until you get a good CPU cooler and clean the old paste and apply new paste. Britton30 was also right about the stock Intel coolers. I have about 5 around here that have never been used. Ivy Bridge gets exceptionally hot when stressed.

    Okay I have installed the 306.97 drivers like in the guide. Hopefully that works.



    For the CPU cooling, I know the EVO was recommended but I'm not sure if it will fit in my case. Would it be worth just spending some extra cash now and getting a water cooler or are there other coolers you recommend.
