Windows 7: BSOD Random - Generally just in Firefox/Desktop

BSOD Random - Generally just in Firefox/Desktop

Hey guys,

I've had my computer for a few months now and I've been having issues with it just BSOD and rebooting on me every now and then. I've only had it occur while open in Firefox or if I leave my desktop open. It has yet to crash on me in game.

When I first built the computer I was having BSOD's every time it went into sleep mode or even turned the monitor off. That turned out to be a driver issue with the brand new Radeon 7970 - I blamed all the BSOD's on that.

But I am still getting them from time to time while I am actually ON the computer. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. I am running the beta 12.9 AMD drivers, but it was BSOD'ing using the 12.6/12.7(beta)/12.8 drivers also.

In short, I don't think it is still my graphics card causing the problem, and I was hoping you guys could give me some advice to fix it.

On a possibly related note, my computer does lock up one program on occasion. For instance, Firefox tends to freeze and I can't scroll or change tabs or anything, but I can still do everything else on my computer. I think this may be related to Flash problems with graphic drivers though.

Anyways, I look forward to any help.

G'day. Lately I've been getting heaps of BSODs, generally when running games like LoL and CS:GO but once even while browsing YouTube. I've done a complete wipe and started fresh 3 times now, as well as made sure that all my drivers are up to date, so I'm pretty confident that the problem is a...

BSODs at random, generally with Plex Media Server running
My hypothesis is that the BSODs I've been getting have something to do with Plex. They started about a month after I installed Plex, and have been happening irregularly since then. Here's the list of BSODs from the Event Viewer (if that isn't in the thing I uploaded, very nifty tool btw). ...
