Computer freezes with little load, what do I look for?

    Greetings,

I have been regularly experiencing my computer freezing while browsing the web and using P2P software.

I have found no traces of viruses or malware - only tracking cookies on my computer (which I clear out daily) and no scans I've run have indicated that there's anything wrong with my computer...but maybe I'm missing something.

I have, in the process of writing this, experienced it once again and was reminded that yesterday I set my power button to 'hibernate' instead of power off and I'm really just jumpstarting my computer to get it going. Still, that can't be any good.

Yesterday I did a full refresh of my computer - reinstalled Win7 from the installation disc. After awhile it happened again. I've been stuck powering down my notebook with the power button. I hate doing that.

What should I be looking for in the event viewer?

Should I be sandboxing my system? If so, I'm really green here and would appreciate some links to more information about this. I've downloaded Sandboxie but have had issue with it - It's not really user friendly to point applications to non-sandboxed folders.

Google Chrome/uTorrent are the programs I'm using for the most part but am entering this on iE9.

For now, I'd really just like to know what to look for and how to fix my system's hurdles because before this week I hadn't had any issues with my computer whatsoever.

Why won't this site let me post my crash/event files?

It *just* happened again but this time I had to power my computer off.

    Random Freezes

I apologize in advance if this is not the proper place to post this.

I have also experienced random freezes, (everything onscreen freezes and must either push reset button or power off and back on), mostly while surfing the net. I have the occasional freeze while playing COD2 or Rainbow Six: Vegas but the majority of my problems happen while surfing.

    I use Firefox 11.0

I'm running my system overclocked to 4.020Ghz with an x20 multiplier, a kick in voltage to 1.485, and a NB increase to 201. I was seeing BSOD's until I switched to water cooling but since then, the only thing I've had problems with is the occasional random freeze. What's interesting about the freezes is, pushing the reset button does not always reboot the system. Sometimes I have to completely power off, then power back on, for the system to reboot.

Below is a snap of the EventViewer entry for the last event. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
