I think i figured out what causing my computer to lag. I guess it's the cracked game. When I install dishonored, it asked me to install some C++ 2008 redistributable things. I check them and it gave me errors while installing them, then the next day, my computer starts lagging. I remove them now and it haven't lag yet. Not sure is it really the problem.

As compelling as it may be to have that pirated software, you have to realize you're asking for trouble. I'd completely wipe that machine, reinstall the OS, leave that cracked crap off of it, and enjoy your new smooth running machine, all the while knowing that you've paid for what you've got.

Pirated software or the keygens used often have malware built in without your knowledge. They can slow you, BSOD, or steal passwords to financial accounts.

Did you wipe the disk before the reinstall?

All right. You're going to have to start elaborating a bit.

To wipe the disk I'm assuming you did something like a clean command using Diskpart, right? Just to make sure that at least the first MB has been cleaned of old code (the MBR and any possible hidden malware residing there).

What sort of reinstall did you do, OEM or retail? What install media did you use?

What other stuff (OEM or other third party) have you loaded on it?

Then there's Task Manager, Resource Monitor, Event Viewer, MSConfig, etc. to take a look at. Or maybe there's a hardware issue at the bottom of this.

Might be worth the time to run some HDD diagnostics. Were there any issues/problems whatsoever with the reinstall?

Ok, I try my best to answer all the questions. So I install windows through my Hardrive which I created a installation on it. Its a retail version...I guess because it doesn't come with any third party software or any extra drivers. When it lags, the resources monitor shows 1.5 - 2.x GB ram usage. In the process, windows desktop manager is using a lot of memory besides Chrome.

And the problem happen again. Everything is running smooth, including opening and closing windows, but website just load slower, when click download, it takes 20 second to pop up the download window. My computer is really weird.
