    BSOD whenever laptop is bumped, error 0x0000000A


    I've been having this rather odd problem for several months, and I'm just starting to get annoyed at it.
    Whenever my laptop gets bumped, or the surface its sitting on gets bumped hard, I get a BSOD with the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (occasionally the error is BAD_POOL_CALLER instead, but only maybe 5% of the time).
    The stop code is 0x0000000A (0x0000000000000B70, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFF800036E1215).

    I asked some computer guys who are friends of mine if they have any idea what might be causing the problem, and the most popular suggestion was that perhaps my RAM or video card was loose. We opened up the laptop and found that everything was sitting firmly in its socket, and there weren't any loose components or possible shorts.

    We're stumped, anyone have any what the problem might be?

    I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Intel Core i7 2.66GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870.

    An initial analaysis points to a driver.
    Go to the intel site and update your drivers. They survey your computer and give you all the Intel drivers that need to be udpated. The specific driver is

    The computer may,also, have other problems as bumping would not cause a BSOD with driver problem, unless it is indicitive of a loose card
