BSOD when going to/coming from idle, Dell XPS L702x

    Hi BSOD gurus,

I've had this dell laptop for over a year now and has worked fine until recently, when I return to my computer i've found that i get the BSOD. Up until now, i've just closed the screen, and walked away and have had no problems. Now in order to avoid the BSOD, i have to shut down the computer after each use.

In trying to figure out what's causing the BSOD, i've noticed two instances. One is that when i wake it up from idle/sleep, it will already have the BSOD. Another one i've noticed is that when i wake it up, it Win7 prompts me to login with my password, and then goes to BSOD.

I look forward to your help in getting this fixed!
    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome

    Problematic software:
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\McAfee	Public:Start Menu\Programs\McAfee	Public
McAfee is a known cause to BSOD, please uninstall it. Use Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

    Code:
    Driver	c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys (8.17.12.6830, 12.47 MB (13,071,592 bytes), 10/13/2011 10:43 PM)
Get the latest drivers installed for your graphics card from the manufacturers website or from device manager, but first uninstall from control panel.
Click on the Start ► Control Panel ► Programs ► Uninstall a program ► Uninstall everything related to nvidia and delete remnants of its driver using Driver Sweeper.

Also update your network drivers to the latest.

Free up your start-up, keep nothing except the new antivirus.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

Let us know the results and further BSODs if any
