When you go to bios and set optimized defaults, everything should be set right ( C1, C3,C6, Turbo, speedstep - all should be auto or enabled) Different motherboards have different options, so I don't know how to tell you exactly. In the overclocking section, set your ram to XMP, 9-9-9-27, set your voltage to 1.65v, and frequency to 1600 (or 800 depending on the board) You are running at 1333 now, which is OK. Set your sata mode to whatever it is now, and your boot options. I believe you said earlier that you ran Memtest and passed, so the problem should not be Ram.

Edit: What error codes are you getting on the Debug LED?

    Hi everyone!

I have the strangest BSOD ever in my life : x124

    here is my config:
    i7-2600k
    Zotac Z68-ITX wifi
    Kingston 1600c9d3k2/8gx
    A-DATA 128GB SDD
    Sap. AMD HD6950 2GB
    Antec h20

Every time i starting my computer a BSOD welcomes me. (auto-restarting)
Then i got the black screen with two options:
    - etc. recovery mode
    - etc. normal mode (but my USB keyboard dont work) so i have to wait for the 30 sec, recovery mode starts on (keyboard suddenly works) ,
    - cancel or recovery yadda-yadda - (then restarting...)
and seems to be everything is fine. (sometime i can play more then 2 hours, or more)
after i restart, its start up normaly, but when i shut down wait around 20-30min the BSOD is there.

    - my experince :
    - when it works its bulletproof. no BSOD - i used many stress programs (furmark, etc)
    - BSOD sometimes on playing, or starting games
    things i done:
    - Update drivers, BIOS
    - replace RAM
    - replace PSU
    - replace SSD
    - reinstall windows
    - use the IGP (HD3000)
    - no overclocking.

thanks for anything i cant solve this by my self - and sorry for my bad english!

As i write in the first post:

    - furmark - done 2h no error
    - memtest (hirens boot cd) - 6 pass
    - hdd test with hd sentinel, hdtune checkdisk - passed.

I think somekind of energycontrolling system malfunction,
when i get the BSOD something is starting. ( and i think some device cant get the proper energy, could it be? )

    Like desktop
    Like game
    Like app
But when it started it run like a dream.
And again, when is no OS sometime started (doslike screen) the USB KB is not working... Its strange.
Sorry, all I saw was "furmark etc".

124 is a hardware error guys, nothing else sets it off, except for improper clocks. Which you seem to have already covered.
Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

Overclocking can cause a stop of 0x124, but is not the exclusive cause. Bad RAM, bad drive sectors, outdated drivers/BIOS, and overheat due to dust build up will do it too. Too generic to pinpoint.

bad ram yes, that's hardware, bad bios (okay you kind of got me there I consider it hardware but it's technically not)

I have absolutely never seen a 124 caused by a driver. Never.
