Computer wont Boot system repair doesnt work

I tried getting back on the computer this morning and it went to the loading screen just sat there all black screen with the words starting on it like usual but then it took me back to boot up menu saying that it recommended i use system repair. So i did and it just ran for about 2 hours while it said it should only take a few minutes. So then i started getting creative trying to get command print up so i could just restore.... still wouldnt boot up in safe mode, i started looking for cd's to restore my computer to factory setting because i have nothing important saved within in... no luck. Can someone please tell me how to either get it to finish cleaning out the busted files or to just reset my computer to factory without disks

    Hi,

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps in order:

    1. Confirm Hard Drive is recognized in BIOS. If yes, follow next step. If NO, load BIOS defaults.
    2. Run Start Up repair from the URL mentioned: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-vista/Startup-Repair-frequently-asked-questionsOr https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html
    3. If the issue still persists, then try running the Hardware Diagnostics. If you get any error code, make a note of the error code.

In addition these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start will disinfect the PC if necessary since it might not repair until it is cleaned of infection.

The steps include everything possible that can be done to start unbootable Win7, up to rescuiing your files and running Factory Recovery or Clean Reinstalling.
