Uninstall it from Control panel> Programs and features.
The remover removes the AV only.
Alright, the chkdsk reported no errors at the end when the system restarted (did the start on restart option). That Seagate tool sounds to me like chkdsk. Is it an alternative or should I do it? And thanks for the fast replies.
Oh, and is it safe to return to the newest Nvidia driver? :)
First I am answering your question ....
1. Seatools does the same thing apparently as chkdsk does, but it does it deeper and with some other dynamics, there are a variety of tests.
2. No, wait for another update by nVidia. Till date, there is no further update.
Now answer my questions :)
1. Have you uninstalled AVG completely?
2. What is the situation after uninstalling it? Is it still crashing?
If so, go for seatools. If not, dont need anymore.
So, let us know the situation.
It's funny, because I just read the mail notification on my iPod while waiting for Garry's Mod to load a server. The I Alt-Tab'd out of it and opened Chrome to reply here. As soon as Chrome was loaded, I chrashed with the error MEMORY_MANAGEMENT:

It's wierd, because all my 5 crashes since this started has always had Garry's Mod/Team Fortress 2 AND Google Chrome open in the background at the same time. And Skype, cause that's always open.
As to your question, both the AV and the Tuneup has been removed, searching in the start menu only reveals the shortcuts, some files in /AppData/Local/Temp and some files for the desktop Gadget.
I have had this MEMORY_MANAGEMENT chrash before, which was caused by some hardware errors in the RAM. Under the warranty, I got them replaced with some new ones, and they ran a Memtest to make sure that there was no errors on the new ones. There was not.
I have grabbed it all again, and attached to this post.
RAM - Test with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, per slot per RAM module.
Let us know the results.
As the memory management crash is continuing, we should verify the RAM.
Just got another BSOD today. I haven't had the time to run that memtest, but I'm going to do it when I get a reply to this question: I cannot remove the RAM-modules and have one at a time in the PC. Is it fine to have all my modules in place at the time of the memtest? If not I'll have to have the company do it for me so that it doesn't void my warranty. This does go under it, so I can just make them do it.

Update the Atheros network adapter driver.
Update it from ATHEROS drivers for Microsoft Windows (Atheros?????).Code:lmvm athrx start end module name fffff880`03c34000 fffff880`03dba000 athrx T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: athrx.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\athrx.sys Image name: athrx.sys Timestamp: Wed Nov 24 05:41:58 2010 (4CEC584E) CheckSum: 00187FE1 ImageSize: 00186000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Update your display driver.
- Download and install Driver Fusion.
- Reboot the computer in Advanced Boot Options, safe mode. Search Driver Fusion in your start menu, and remove all components of your nVidia display driver.
- Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Drivers > Beta and Legacy; search there with your cards particulars for GeForce 306.23 Driver, dated 13.9.2012 and install it.
Let us know the results.
Hmm. That's wierd. I don't even have Atheros, my network adapter is ICIDU. And if I do have Atheros, I don't even know which one. It wasn't listed in the specifications of this PC. And about the display drivers, you told me half a week ago to do exactly the same, and I did it, so I already have that particular Nvidia driver :/
Sorry, but I said it, coz I found this one in your dump.
I am asking foe some more help, probably I am doing something wrong there.Code:fffff880`047dc458 fffff880`03d5599fUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\athrx.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for athrx.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for athrx.sys athrx+0x12199f
I do have the athrx.sys, but I don't think I have an Atheros hardware/software. Just tell me what to do, whenever you find out :)
The faster, the better. As for the memtest, what do I do there? Just run it with all the modules in place?
