    Hi Admin,

To update, I experience 2 BSOD yesterday and 3 today. I've updated the .dmp .

as far as update are concern, I've recently updated the graphic driver to v310.9 and mozilla FF to v 18.

Pls advise on what is causing all the BSOD.

    Thank you very much

    I've requested for more help.

-? Have you checked for a BIOS update?

    And, follow this:
    Arc said:
Intel 5100 wifi AGN (netw5s64.sys) : From Intel Download Center
Atheros AR8131 NIC driver (l1c62x64.sys) : From ATHEROS drivers for Microsoft Windows (Atheros?????)

Both the drivers need to be updated there, IMO.

Sorry but how do I go about checking the bios update.

Updated Intel 5100 wifi AGN from V.13.0.0.107 to v. 14.3.2.1.

As for atheros ar8131, the hyperlink attach does not show any update avail.

Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook, Ultrabook / Aspire / Aspire 4736G
Check here for BIOS, the latest is 2.09, from 3-3-2010. Click the User Guides tab and get a manula for your model to see how to update, you may not need it.
Download CPU-z to see what BIOS version you have. Click the Mainboard tab to check.

Bios updated from v.2.04 to v2.08.

Atheros ar8131, updated to v.1.0.0.36 as well. Shall continue the monitor again.

However I notice that this few crashes recently happened while I was watching dramas on QVOD player. Wondering if it's the player compatibility.
