If you think the slots aren't the problem you may still have issues with new RAM. Since you didn't test each stick in each slot, the memtest result is not conclusive at all. With Gigabyte you can run into many bad boards.

    Proper memtest:

    RAM (memory):
This will require memtest on a bootable CD or USB stick.

Don't agree with the Gigabyte bad boards, mine as been completely trouble free.
From working on threads here I have seen more issues with Asus boards than others.
Guess it's a matter of personal experience and preference

    Back on topic.
sethyst, if you haven't been using memtest86+, you should run the tests again using it.
It is the most highly recommended RAM test from motherboard and RAM manufacturers forums, as well as OverClocking forums.

But your board is old, Dave. But, he used memtest86 V4.20 and ran it for 16 passes and it found 3 errors (post #28).

I've received my new RAM in the mail, and I haven't received a BSOD all day. I'll consider my issue fixed. Thank you all so much for your help.

You're welcome, that's good news mate. If you'd like, run memtest again with the new RAM.
