WELL.Cant be that. must be 12.10 and 12.11 crashing..
i went and house sat for a mate from the 23rd to the 29th of October. No one used my computer as everyone else has there own. Plus Password protected. and when i got back the BSODs started..

cant remember doing the update to 12.10 when i got back but i may have. just forgotten.

just got back from watching a movie and left PC on downloading some steam games. come back to the paused windows LOGO screen which is what happens after a BSOD.

should i just try the one before 12.10 and not update at this time?

    Try it, good plan definitely.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. If it error is with the card itself.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Clean inside the computer. Make it sure that there is no accumulated dust.

Monitor the system heat, and the heat of the card itself. Use Speccy for it.

And upload the last dump, too.

Furmark didnt crash it. PC could probably use a clean.

    GPU #1 hit 80 degrees
    #2 hit 70 degrees.

Im now at CCC 12.9. so shall give it a couple hours test. doing random things to see what happens.

    heres the latest dumps.

    Thanks.

You were absolutely right, it crashed on 12.11, too
    Code:
    kd> lmvm atikmdag
    start end module name
    fffff880`076e0000 fffff880`081f5000 atikmdag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys
        Image name: atikmdag.sys
        Timestamp: Tue Oct 23 07:53:58 2012 (5085FFBE)
        CheckSum: 00AC8140
        ImageSize: 00B15000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
So, now it is to see, if it crashes on 12.9, too.
