    Recently got Driver_Iqrl_not_equal_or_less error.

    Hello

firstly i would like to apologize if i post this thread in a bad way, its my first time using this forum and i'm not yet a custom to it.

since i got my computer it has been freezing randomly, usually about a hour after booting, then about 3 weeks after i install windows the freezes get more frequent, gradually it goes from 1 hour after booting to about 1 minute after booting. then the next stage is usually blue screen which says Driver_iqrl_not_equal_or_less, i cant gather any more info because as soon as i read any more than the crash message my computer shuts down. i cant go into safe mode because that also freezes regularly. i have installed windows several times to gain control over my computer again, but each time i get the same string of events.

My computer is made from vibox a company that operates on eBay making semi custom builds, i bought one of the cheaper versions that has unfortunately to gone off the market now so i cant find the motherboard i have, however i upgraded almost every aspect of the computer to attempt to turn it in to a gaming computer however when i go on games my computer seems to freeze more often, my graphics card (Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560TI) should be able to handle the games im running as there quite low quality games, after i upgraded my graphics card my cpu went weird and i had to buy i new one so i upgraded to a: AMD FX(tm)-8120 eightcore processor, but then the processor often overheated so i invested in a 750 watt power supply that i forgot the name of, i have also upgraded my ram to 8gb which has affected nothing. my hardrive is 1tb how ever i believe my hard drive might be the problem since its the only other peice of my computer i havnt upgraded (im hoping to hell its not the motherboard), i also installed a sound card (since the computer didnt have one, i bought the cheapest one i found) called Speedlink Stage 5.1 PCI Sound Card. i also bought a net gear wireless adapter.

the freezes are the type that every thing stops except for the mouse pointer. the blue screens happen about every 20 freezes. i have tried to update my drivers because a friend of mine thought that might be the problem however after i updated he driver every thing started to freeze quicker.

Please help i have spent almost £900 on a computer that freezes every time i try and do any thing, this is getting really frustrating !

one last note all the components except for the graphics were installed by professionals the graphics card i installed my self.

EDIT: i opened my computer to see if i could find my motherboard type and found this Gigabyte GA-M688MT-S2 i hope that helps!

Hello B21man and welcome to Seven Forums.

Couple of things I'd like you to do (if your computer will allow you to do so) that will help this Forum help you.
    1. Fill in your system specs so all info is in one place.
System Info - See Your System Specs
    2. Set up your machine to generate dump files.
Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
    3. Follow the BSOD posting instructions.

You mentioned that, "...all the components except for the graphics were installed by professionals the graphics card i installed my self." Did any of these professionals provide any kind of warranty? If yes, I'd consider taking the computer back for a complete diagnostic check. Since the motherboard and hard drive appear to be the only two major components that haven't been changed out I'd also ask the techs to run specific diagnostics on the mobo and HDD.
