Welcome to SevenForums.
Can you tell me if you have any 3rd party firewall programs, or multiple antiviruses installed on your system? (I can only see MSE at the moment). |

No, I only use MSE. I was running AVG free but uninstalled it when I wanted to install MSE.

Alright.
Update the following driver from here: Driver Reference Table (Try deleting its drivers/older drivers using Driver Fusion/Sweeper) Code:
0: kd> lmvm NETwNs64 start end module name fffff880`058a3000 fffff880`0612b000 NETwNs64 T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: NETwNs64.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\NETwNs64.sys Image name: NETwNs64.sys Timestamp: Tue Jan 24 04:44:07 2012 (4F1DE2B7) CheckSum: 0083D6A9 ImageSize: 00888000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4 Code:

It uses a driver called sptd.sys which is known to cause BSODs in Windows 7. Uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs. Reboot the system. Once the program is uninstalled, run sptd.sys uninstaller to remove the driver from your system. As an alternative, many people recommend the use of Total Mounter or Magic ISO OR, Prefer 7zip out of all: Download and install 7-Zip, it is free +it can extract any iso file. So you can use it the way you want to. At a max you'll miss some chapter chooser screen of a DVD title. System Optimisers These software can contribute in BSOD's. The windows 7 operating system does not require these registry cleaning software. They often tune-down rather than tune-up and can wreck the OS beyond repair. Microsoft have improved Windows 7 significantly and it is much better at organising and optimising itself than its predecessors. Check this, this and this thread for evidence. If you feel the need to use a registry cleaning or optimisation software, most of us recommend the use of CCleaner but make sure you back up the registry before making letting ccleaner delete anything. Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.Let us know the results. |

No luck this time. I did what you told me but when I started downloading again, I got the BSOD again.
I think it had something to do with NETIO.SYS. The new files are attached. |

Uninstall all your network adapter drivers from the Device manager.
Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu. Also install any optional updates from windows updates. Uninstall the torrent client using the free version of Revo Uninstaller and download a new (non beta version) from filehippo > File Sharing Downloads - FileHippo.com BTW, which program are you using for downloading torrents? |
